Grand Elk hails from the deep forests of rural eastern Norway, but the band members have defied the borders of their natural habitat in search of musical inspiration. The inspirational sources span from british classical and progressive rock, american new wave, punk rock, indie and stoner, to german kraut/space rock and scandinavian metal.
